“I have met many wonderful people that have put forth the insinuation of three kingdoms; The Worlds, The Church’s and God’s Kingdom. I would say from my heart of hearts that there are only two kingdoms captivating your heart today; The World that is ruled by the god who attempts to pervert the relationship he once had and has lost; and God’s kingdom that is wooing you even now by an incomprehensible love”

The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on Earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule. Samuel Adams
Although their have been many freedom fighters in our nation’s history, these are the select few that have peeked my interest enough to do at best a minor in depth study on their history and beliefs. Some may consider that this list contains controversial leaders. Please do not be mistaken, as you pick your favorites there is not one name among these quotations that have not been associated with accusations of horrendous acts, “sinful” behavior and rebellion. Due to the fact that I would rather not bore any reader that would so sacrifice their time to read this article, I will not attempt to justify why I believe these revolutionaries are worthy of my attention and respect. Rather I would like to attempt to amplify the stringlined message throughout every revolutionist since the beginning of time, including the greatest revolutionary of all time, Jesus Christ.
The message is Freedom! Freedom from systems and hierarchies setup to bring “order”, that have in turn have suppressed the human blessing of living from our hearts and loving without an agenda. Their messages were a at times an abrupt awakening to those that have not realized the simple fact that they have traded their walk of FAITH for a step by step tower attempting to reach the heavens by stacking blocks and bricks of rules and regulations that we disguise as government (Gen 11:1). Freedom screams from the hearts of children to be set free from the obligation of performance and to be let off of the roller coaster of recognition.
My statements are not to prove the need to eliminate organization from our lives. On the contrary, as long as we are in this world we will need organized systems to succeed IN this world. I would just like to humbly challenge the reader to not depend on the systems of this world for significance. "Significance has never been about behaior" (William P. Young)
Jesus understood the reality of the system and the way of this world. He knew that in this world we would need to perform to gain momentum in economic capatolism, he knew that we would need to fight for every rung on the ladder of this corporate minded world. He planted his feet in the middle of it and exclaimed “…My kingdom (way of living) is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36) and professed to his kids that they are IN this world but not OF this world.
Revolutionary freedom fighters have sought to uncover the lies that dictate and determine the very essence of our daily agendas. The truth comes to make all aware of the enemy of relationship’s success, in infilitrating our parenting skills, our management teams, our education system, our preached messages and unpreached messages. The truth of freedom comes to reveal the hypocritical messages from this world that says “I love you” and in the same breath states “upon the condition that you fulfill our laws and you do for me as I do for you.” I would suggest to you that any law is for the lawless. The Fruit of the Spirit is for the free, and against those that offer fruit of the spirit to those they come in contact with have no law mandated over them (Galations 5:23, read Gal 5 “again”…it is a paradigm shift into the character of the Trinity). How can one control the self controlled, how can one rebuke chaos out of the peaceful, or why would one demand total devotion to the faithful. Nevertheless we walk out of our homes into jobs that have management who demands their “team” members to work according to their hands instead of their God-given strengths, we enter into gatherings of friends and families with preconceived ideas of everyones weakness. With everyone attempting to make the other think like them. We have all been guilty of this, just let us pay attention to our blood pressure when we hear someone make a statement that we consider bondage and watch us try to “set them free”. We go to our churches and hear coined phrases like “Coming to Jesus is free, but living for him will cost you everything” (the last I checked he was the last sacrifice). We hear from behind the pulpit that God’s “Agape” love is unconditional but then discard the Christian who doesn’t attend an organize service and doesn’t pay their tithe as illegitimate.
The fact is…we are torn. We hear the conditional messages of the world, but long to live in our predestined Kingdom of God that is not of this world.
With the already written words I merely attempt to give the reader a very small glimpse into the freedom that stirs and frustrates the revolutionary individual. I would be so bold as to assume that the revolutionaries listed, would be dissapointed that that their messages have been boxed and stored in the picture of their faces. Their faces applied to T-shirts. Their images hung in store-front poster collections. Their sillhouettes idolized and pinned up on the walls of the human soul. I would propose to my reader that they would sacrifice the very thought of their name and their associated image of their ever lived existence if the reality of freedom would just be realized and enjoyed in life with the common man and woman.
The reality is...that these men represented an idea, the problem is…that the WORLD NEEDS A KING to survive…
